Join thousands of visitors, brands, creators, and cultural enthusiasts from across Nigeria and beyond for an experience that celebrates tradition, ignites innovation, and positions Ibadan on the global stage.
Ekaabo 2025 isn’t just an event—it’s history in the making.
Ekaabo 2025 is a five-day Tourism, Arts, Hospitality, and Cultural Festival set to take place from November 25th – 29th, 2025, across landmark venues in Ibadan, Oyo State. Building on the resounding success of Ekaabo 2023 at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, and Ekaabo 2024 at the National Museum of Unity, Aleshinloye, this year’s edition promises to be the most ambitious yet—bigger, bolder, and richer in content and experiences.
The festival is designed as a grand celebration of Yoruba heritage and the creative economy, while also spotlighting Ibadan as a premier destination for tourism, hospitality, and cultural exchange. Each day of Ekaabo 2025 will feature signature shows and experiences including the Heritage Show, Travel & Tourism Show, Hospitality & Culinary Showcase, The Amala Show, Power Bike Parade, Museum Tour, The Creatives Hangout, Gala Dinner, and The Rave Night. Together, these events will immerse participants in the pageantry of tradition, the flavors of culture, and the vibrancy of innovation.
Ekaabo serves as more than a festival—it is a platform of pride, unity, and economic growth. It creates opportunities for artisans, brands, and service providers to gain visibility; for schools and youth to learn, perform, and preserve heritage; and for communities, governments, and corporate organizations to collaborate for shared development.
With participation expected from all 33 Local Government Areas in Oyo State, top secondary schools, cultural associations, corporate brands, travel organizations, and international stakeholders, Ekaabo 2025 will position Ibadan as the cultural heartbeat of Nigeria and a rising destination on the global map.
Above all, Ekaabo is a call to celebrate who we are, share our stories, and shape the future of culture and tourism in Africa. It is not just a festival—it is a living, breathing showcase of heritage, creativity, and possibilities.
